I took this picture of a fisherman (our neighbor during our stay) at the back of our friend's house when we were still in Siargao, Philippines. It started to rain hard and I hurriedly took my camera out to capture the moment.
I wish I could've captured more pictures of manong, but I guess that's one of the techniques one should have, to be at the right place at the right time... FAST!

I use a waterproof Olympus SW790 camera. I bought this last year and I am still paying have just finished paying for this. I love O% interest! Newer models of this camera are already out with a higher resolution and are a lot cheaper, but I don't regret that I got this baby! I got a lot of compliments because of the pictures I took, plus it helps when I go out to a trip and because I don't have to worry too much about bad weather because of its durability. For this point-and-shoot camera, I'm a very satisfied Olympus customer!

Last time I was in the PI was in 1990 when I was doing a military tour through Cubi Point. I found your website in the most unlikely spot. I love your pictures. It will be a long time before I can bring my young children to see "home", so I will show them your beautiful pictures. Thanks for helping me stay connected.
